#58: Malta National Open Results

The 2025 edition of the Malta Taekwondo National Open took place on the weekend of the 8th and 9th February, featuring both kyorugi (sparring) and poomsae (patterns/forms).

Hosted at the Iron Taekwondo League, Santa Venera, local athletes got a chance to showcase their skills.

In the Kyorugi segment, 33 Iron Taekwondo League players registered for the event, while two athletes from Birzebbuga Taekwondo Club and three athletes from Dragon Academy signed up.

Following that, the poomsae segment was comprised of 15 total athletes, all hailing from Iron Taekwondo League.

A total of 32 gold medals went ITL’s way, while three and two respective gold medals were awarded to Dragon Academy and Birzebbuga Taekwondo Club.
